How do I upload featured and top header images via the API?

If you would like to upload a featured or top header image to a campaign via the API you will have to call a different endpoint than the one used for saving a campaign.

If you would like to POST an image you would call:

campaign/[Campaign ID]/resource/file

If you would like to PUT or DELETE an image you would call:

campaign/[Campaign ID/resource/file/[Image ID]

When uploading an image using either POST or PUT you MUST specify in the “Request Payload” the “resource_content_type” and the “region_id”.

For the featured and top header images the “resource_content_type” payload will always be “image”.

The “region_id” is where you would like the image to go. If you would like to upload a featured image then the “region_id” must be 3.

faq_1

If you would like to upload a top header image then the “region_id” must be 5.

faq_2

You should do a PUT on the image ID if the image already exists. If it doesn’t exist then do a POST.

How Can I Troubleshoot My Payment Configuration?

Sometimes you may run into configuration issues with payment processing.

Please note that we do our best to help you with this including online help tutorials or assistance from our engineering team that can check or verify your payment configuration to ensure everything is correct.

Have you went over the following tutorial below on how to configure the main Stripe account for your website instance?

https://www.thrinacia.com/blog/post/how-to-setup-and-configure-your-stripe-account

Please make sure all the steps are followed in the above tutorial including creation of platform on Stripe.

Next, if you are planning to have project creator connect their stripe/bank account to campaign during campaign creation (like a kickstarter) for automatic distribution of funds, you will need to then follow the tutorial below.

https://www.thrinacia.com/blog/post/creating-a-campaign-and-connecting-your-stripe-account

Alternatively you can use “Direct Transaction” feature if you will not be having project creators connecting their accounts and all money will go into portal account only as per below and you may handle distribution of funds manually.

That means you only need to do the connection once at the portal level and funding step will be removed from campaign creation process.

Finally if you are seeing customers created but not charges then your issue may reside with charge modes. Thrinacia allows you to process payments in two charge modes.

1. Direct Charge Mode

or

2. Post Charge Mode

Defaults are for AoN type of campaign (All Or Nothing) that payments are processed in Post Charge Mode, and for KiA (Keep It All) type of campaigns that payments are processed in Direct Charge Mode.

These modes are configurable from the Administration Panel.

If you are indeed using AoN campaigns with Post Charges, then these should be tested as per tutorial below. Note that you will need to end campaign so it can be tested (for this please refer to “Test Post Processing” option).

Direct Charges do not require this as they are processed immediately.

If you are still experiencing problems with your Stripe configuration we will need to you to create a new support ticket on nexus.thrinacia.com and our team invited to your Stripe account temporarily (you can remove us later).

You can invite dev@thrinacia.com and our engineer can examine both your Stripe and your Website Configuration to ensure there are no issues.

How do I enable custom URL path for campaigns

Custom campaign URL path option for campaigns can easily be enabled from the Administration Web UI panel as per following screenshot. Make sure “Allow Custom Path” option is selected.

custompath

Once enabled campaigns can have custom URL paths such as for example: https://www.mywebsite.com/my-custom-campaign-path

The path can be set on Campaign Basics step during campaign creation as shown below.

Why are there additional websites included with the different SaaS plans?

When viewing our monthly subscription plans here: https://www.thrinacia.com/atlas/pricing

You may notice that there are additional websites included with specified plans. These additional websites will allow you to run multiple Crowdfunding websites if you choose to do so. Many clients are using an additional website, for example, to add a separate language. One website may be in English, while another site may be translated to French. There are many reasons why you can use an additional website.

How do I change default timezone on my backend instance?

Thrinacia by default uses ‘PST’ timezone. If you want to change your portal backend to another timezone simply create a support request in issue tracker and we will adjust it for you very quickly.

Thrinacia by default uses ‘PST’ timezone. If you want to change your portal backend to another timezone simply create a support request in issue tracker and we will adjust it for you very quickly.

We are working on making this option accessible from the Web UI as well, however at present time you need to send support request for this to be adjusted.

Which plans are supporting custom domains?

Any paid plans above micro plan are supporting custom domains. You cannot add custom domain on Free Trial Plan or Micro Plan.

If you are on free trial Discover Plan or Micro Plan you can convert to Discover paid plan at any point and we can then setup your custom domain name.

Custom domain is the domain such as “yourwebsite.com” for example, which is pointed to crowdfunding plan or instance hosted on our end.
