Free Trial and Custom Domain
Normally when you subscribe to a free 14 day trial plan, we will setup your website on our shared subdomain by default. Your CrowdFunding website may then be accessible from URL such as for example: mywebsite123.atlas.thrinacia.com.
However if you intend to use your own custom domain name with website such as www.mydomain123.com for example to host your CrowdFunding website, then you will need to convert to one of the paid plans first i.e. your free trial would end as we have cost in provisioning the SSL certificate, setting up DNS entry and so on.
How can I add manual (offsite) transactions to my campaigns?
You can add manual (offsite) campaigns to Thrinacia via Administration Panel -> Campaigns. All you need to do is click on Red “+” sign and enter the details. You can add contributions from cheques or cash that you got offline for a campaign for example.
Please make sure that campaign is currently in “Running/Approved” status before adding manual transactions.
Note: Only portal admins have the capabilities to add manual offsite transactions.
How do I add additional meta tags to my website page for verification or other purposes?
You can easily manage meta tags for any custom pages or reserved pre-defined pages such as (home, explore, etc.) through Administration Web UI -> Pages.
Simply find the page you wish to update meta tags for, click Edit and below you will see meta tag user management interface allowing you to add, remove or modify meta tags for that specific page you selected.
How do I change my website to use my custom domain name?
If you are upgrading your website to use custom domain instead of the default subdomain we provide, then please follow the steps below.
If you are going to be using a root of your domain or www subdomain such as for example: www.mydomain.com, and want us to handle DNS zone hosting then please follow these steps
- Add ticket to nexus.thrinacia.com or send and email to support@thrinacia.com requesting domain change to be performed and specify which domain is to be used and whether you need any special DNS records added into your DNS zone by us such as MX records, etc.
- We will send you the nameserver records to use for your domain
We will complete all domain change requests within 24-48 hours on the average, all depending on the amount of requests we currently have in the work queue. Please note that if you are changing name servers for your domain and you need incoming mail handling, you may need to let us know what your MX records for the domain are so that incoming mail can be properly handled. We can add MX and other records into your zone for you. These records are normally added automatically if present in the zone already when we fetch it.
Note that it is recommended you use our AnyCast DNS since its globally distributed and any zone changes in future will be handled automatically. If you need to maintain control of your DNS zone yourself, you can then host the DNS zone via your nameservers but note that you may need to update records manually if they change in future.

What tools are available for customizing my website via Web User Interface?
Thrinacia already provides self serve Administration (Web UI) tools that allow you to configure your website with ease. For example you can accomplish things such as changing page content using our templates or your own HTML code, colors, text and sizes or images such as logo, banners, etc. for the website. There are also tools that allow you to configure various workflows and payment processing modes for campaigns and so on. These tools are included with every subscription plan and available under Portal Administration User Interface.
When you are using the Portal Administration User Interface you will be able to get latest daily or weekly updates from Thrinacia without any conflicts. However for more advanced customizations via SFTP or GIT methods involving complete layout changes, you may need to use custom development approach.
After my website is custom modified who will maintain it?
If your website is modified in a custom way, for example you modified 10-15 files with SFTP or GIT methods as you wanted completely different layout and features then you will need to make sure you either know how to maintain such website yourself or that you have a developer or a team who is capable of maintaining your website. Skills that are likely required include AngularJS, SASS, LESS, HTML, CSS, Semantic UI and Image manipulation.
Once you website is custom modified it will be either skipped from updates fully or partially. What is considered custom development and what is included with my subscription plan?
Please note that none of the subscription plans we offer include custom development support. Custom development is whenever for example you are needing layout drastically changed, a new feature developed such as REST API extension or some page content fixed by engineer or developer. As such requests can result in considerable time being spent by person doing the work they are not part of any subscription plans we offer.
Subscription plans (depending on the selected Tier) include Slack chat, email and ticketing system support which can help you with support issues such as how do you upload image into certain area or how you do certain things in the system. Plans also include access to the core system, instance hosting, backups and monitoring as well as response to emergency incidents and everything else outlined in the plan package.
For custom development needs, if you are not familiar with HTML, CSS, Image manipulation, SASS or AngularJS it is best to seek help externally from other developers or from dedicated Thrinacia development team. Such work tasks are billed separately from the base subscription plans and you can email sales@thrinacia.com for more information on pricing and workflow.
Do you store credit cards on your systems anywhere?
No we don’t store any credit cards on any of our systems. We use Stripe exclusively to process all payments. Stripe will store the credit card on their end only (not ours) and tokenize it.
We will only see a token and last 4 credit card digits which we can then use to invoke the charge when needed. We utilize the same method across all of our systems to keep everything consistent. This method is fully PCI compliant. Stripe is very secure and handles high volume of payments.
