Can campaign funding payments be directed to the site owner instead of to the project creators?

Yes, this is easily accomplished with Thrinacia’s backend administration tools. Here is a tutorial that explains how this can be done: Introducing Direct Transactions

How does Thrinacia ensure email deliverability?

Thrinacia uses Mandrill and SendGrid networks to send outgoing emails through our own accounts directly. Thrinacia maintains an excellent reputation and deliverability rates.

In the future these services will become more open to customers who want to be able to use their own accounts with their website.

What is Thrinacia’s disaster recovery procedure?

Backup sets are spread around the globe, also our infrastructure spans multiple physical locations and data centers. In case of large disaster, services will try to auto migrate over to next geographical region. If this is not possible then a manual recovery process would take place.

Does Thrinacia monitor against intrusions?

Intrusion detection is part of the network security. Our network administration team monitors and audits all servers using internal security protocols.

Does Thrinacia use a website monitoring system?

Thrinacia has a system that monitors all websites.  Notifications are sent to network administration staff so they can investigate if there is a problem. Notifications are not sent to customers; however, clients can always subscribe to notification service such as Pingdom if they wish to receive alerts themselves.

How is data backed up?

Data is backed up in an encrypted form on a daily basis to multiple locations around the globe. If something gets accidentally deleted it can be restored in a very short amount of time. Our systems will never delete any data, but just flag data as not used and archive it at later time.

Is Thrinacia PCI compliant?

We are fully compliant with the payment gateways in use. We do not store nor hold credit card numbers anywhere, these are always held on the payment gateway side.

What kinds of security measures are in place?

Our servers are fully firewalled, secured, encrypted and all machines are constantly audited as well as updated when needed. DDOS Protection is also in place via dedicated appliances.
